I love how your theme looks and that it’s fully compatible with Cyanogen 4.0.4, but I think you’re missing a trick by not having a full step by step how to on installing themes. I spent plenty of time looking around forums (worst way ever to get howtos to an audience) and google to no avail.
Many of us (me) are skittish about this whole deal and would like a teeny bit of hand holding. (Especially since I’m on G1 #4 already due to various circumstances.)
I just saw this comment, and am sorry that it took so long to reply to.
I will hopefully be releasing a rooting guide for the G1. Currently, however, there are much better guides out there than I can write at this time.
Here are some links to guides on rooting in general – for once you get rooted, it is as simple as using the Recovery mode to flash any zip.
Easy as pie: Download zip, put it on your SDCard's root, reboot in recovery, and flash away.
there used to be enochXtra with the great screen clock and options. since the upgrade to android 1.6 this has disappeared. when will it be back!!!
